         This five star luxury pine lodge is situated on the prestigious South Lakeland Leisure Park south of Kendal. Located right on the waters edge, it has stunning views overlooking the lake and will appeal to the most discerning of guests. Contemporary lounge is fitted with quality furnishings including new sofas and plasma TV (2010) with Freeview, DVD, built-in surround sound and Wi-Fi Access (£10 for 7 days). Step through double-glazed doors to the veranda overlooking the picturesque lake. Steps lead down to a private boat jetty. All three bedrooms are fitted with wardrobes and the master double bedroom has also en-suite bathroom and TV. The fitted kitchen is modern and fully equipped. Stylish glass dining table seats comfortably up to six people. On site leisure club has a heated swimming pool, fitness studio, steam room and beauty therapy rooms. There are also two highly recommended restaurants and a small beach.

         Nearby Activities: Just a 15 minute drive away you can find the town of Kendal with its unique blend of history, culture and shopping that make it a very popular destination for visitors. There are attractions for all ages, fascinating museum, modern and historic art and a variety of leisure facilities, including a sports centre and a theatre complex. For shoppers there is a pleasant mix of High Street names, shopping centres, a factory outlet, specialty shops and a traditional market.

Grange-over-Sands is a 40 minute drive. A traffic-free promenade, ornamental gardens, a duck pond, golf courses, brass band concerts and vantage points for bird watching are just some of the many attractions on offer.

         Places to Visit: The area dominated by Warton Crag is listed as one of UK's Areas of Outstanding Beauty. It encompasses picturesque towns and villages such as Arnside, Silverdale, Warton, Yealands and Beetham, each with their own distinctive character. A short drive and you are in the very heart of the Lake District. It offers visitors a wealth of attractions from stunning villages, rich in history and culture, to spectacular scenery ideal for quiet contemplation or adventurous outdoor activities.

Driving east and you are into the Yorkshire Dales where you will find tourist attractions including popular riverside beauty spots such as Bolton Abbey in Wharfedale, and Aysgarth Falls in Wensleydale. Have a great day out visiting market and spa towns of Settle, Skipton, Ilkley and Harrogate in North Yorkshire. Whatever your taste, there is something for everyone, come rain or shine.

         Golf: Only a short drive away is the Silverdale Golf Club. Its 18 hole course is set in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) as well as one of Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). It has wonderful views across the RSPB Nature Reserve to Morecambe Bay and to the Lakeland and Howgill Fells.
